This recap of the Prime Video series The Wheel of Time Season 2 Episode 5, “Damane,” contains spoilers.
The Wheel of Time episode, "Damane," is another riveting episode as Moiraine and Rand go on the run from Selene, AKA the "Daughter of the Night." To escape, they steal three horses, kill one (so Selene cannot catch up to them), and make the owner go with them.
However, as we see in the residency of Selene, the darkness repairs her, and when she arrives at the farm, she explodes a poor guy's head with the flick of her wrist and without regret. Riding the man's horse, she catches up with the farm woman who spills the beans.
After she tells Selene where Moriaine and Rand are headed, instead of killing her, she merges her lips, ensuring she can no longer speak.

The episode also includes the High Lady Suroth, the former Seanchan noblewoman who "fell in disgrace and is now da'covale," retiring to The High Lord Turak, the Seanchan nobleman.
Turak berates Suroth for going against his wishes of attacking a seaside town beyond her reach. She initially begins to argue with Turak, a practically criminal offense. Turak orders her to kneel before him and accept her punishment.
Initially, she refuses and looks at the Dark One, who has accompanied her. After kneeling, her nearly three-foot fingernails are cut off. After she is taken away, the Dark One offers the Turak a gift, and Padan Fain Frances out and offers him a box that the High Lord opens.
"With this, the whole world will be ours!" he says.
This is most likely the Horn of Valere, which was used to draw Rand to the Seanchan in the book.
Who does Perrin find?
After Elyas intentionally brings Perrin back to the seaside town instead of leading him back to help his friends, he leaves and finds Aviendha in a cage. A man, Dain Bornhald, warns him that more prominent men have had their arms ripped off after getting too close.
After being invited to stay the night, Perrin overhears Eamon Valda, the Lord Captain Commander of the Children of the Light. Yes, the same man who tried to torture Perrin last year. He sneaks off and frees Aviendha but is ambushed by the Children of Light guards.
It hardly matters, as Aviendha is a natural warrior, defending herself against the dozen armed men without much help from Perrin. She is about to end the leader's life when Perrin asks her to stop because he spared her life.
Why has Liandrin captured Nynaeve, Egwene, and Elayne?
It turns out that Liandrin has pledged her devotion to the Dark One. We are not entirely sure what has happened to Elayne and Egwene at first, but we see that she has Nynaeve in shackles.
Liandrin is pushing Nynaeve to pledge her devotion to the Dark One because she is the most potent channeler the Aes Sedai has seen in years. She tells the Red Aes Sedai that no price would make her stray.
However, Liandrin responds that everyone has a price. She then delivers all three women to Suroth. My take is that Liandrin made some deal, maybe to keep her son alive, to be at the beck and call of the Dark One. Nynaeve and Elyane escape the Seanchan women, but Gwen is captured.
